Fashion meets Fitness…

Guess what... as well as a lover of fake tan, extensions and red lipstick; I love to train.

I'm not great, but it's the perfect way for me to focus on something other than my label and I get to eat, as you may see by my Instagram two years ago I was a size 4 to 6. This was not my best look but, to say I'm happy now 90% of the time is pretty accurate.

So, back to training... I love where I train at Crossfit Pen Y Bont, so yesterday I got the chance to put Island Feather kit to the squat test and I was super lucky to get Gar Smith to take the pictures too.

As you may have guessed by my past posts, I am a massive fan of independent labels, Island Feather ticks all the boxes for me.

Located a stone's throw from the sea, Island Feather was founded by Claudia Albrecht in Southsea, England. Inspired by her love for outdoor sports, natural beauty and helping others through her work for national charities and 3rd sector organisations, Claudia has developed Island Feather into an established sports and fitness wear company and lifestyle brand - designed specifically for women

And that's exactly what it does...

designed by women for women. I'm a fan of the leggings for a start, a flattering cut with a deep waist band (yes ladies no cutting in) and you don't actually move in their sports bra (however I am wearing my absolute fave from DBA in the picture above.A

Even down to the palm tree detailing, these are a great fit and well made,

Did they pass the squat test?
